The Alliance of the American Dental Association annually sponsors awards programs to recognize members for service to their communities and to dentistry. These contributions -- large or small -- are applauded. Taken as a whole, individual efforts have large scale impact.

BEULAH K. SPENCER SERVICE AWARDS 2013
2013 Recipients will be acknowledged at the AADA Annual Conference in Branson, MO.
The Beulah K. Spencer Service Award is a Distinguished Service Award that recognizes members who make outstanding contributions and who exemplify outstanding leadership and volunteer spirit through excellence in service and commitment to their Alliance on the component (local) level and/or constituent (state) level. Established in 1994, this prestigious award honors Beulah K. Spencer. Candidates must have been active tripartite members or members-at-large ten years or less.

NEW! LEADERSHIP GRANTS for Conference 2013
The Alliance of the American Dental Association (AADA) is sponsoring Leadership Grants for Conference 2013. This grant program has been established to encourage current and potential Alliance leaders to attend Conference so they may learn and develop skills to provide leadership to the Alliance on a local, state, and/or national level. Two grants are available per affiliated state for members of AADA and two additional grants are available for Members-at-Large (MAL) if they will work to establish an affiliated program in their community or state.

FIRST TIME CONFERENCE ATTENDEE GRANTS for Conference 2013
The AADA Conference Grant program, awarded to first time conference attendees, was established to encourage Alliance members to attend the AADA conference. Grant recipients learn skills and gain insight into AADA, preparing them for further involvement in dental health and legislative activities and leadership positions.

STUDENT SPOUSE SCHOLARSHIPS for Conference 2013
The AADA Conference Scholarship program is awarded to student spouse Alliance members, who are spouses of members of the American Student Dental Association (ASDA) or a student Contributing Member. The focus of this scholarship program is to prepare the recipients for further involvement in dental health education, legislative activities and leadership positions as they continue their membership in the Alliance.

THELMA J. NEFF DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARDS 2013
A Distinguished Service Award that recognizes members who made outstanding contributions and who exemplify outstanding leadership and volunteer spirit through excellence in service and commitment to their Alliance on the component (local) level and/or constituent (state) level. Established in 1984, this prestigious award honors Thelma J. Neff who founded AADA in 1955 and served as its first president followed by 19 years as KEY editor. Candidates must be active tripartite members or a members-at-large for more than ten years.
Applications are to be postmarked or received by fax or e-mail by May 3, 2013.
MEMBER PROJECT AWARDS (MPA) 2013
These programs allow us to recognize component and constituent alliances as well as individual members and members-at-large for efforts on behalf of dentistry. Please let us know about the outstanding work that you and your fellow AADA members have been performing in your communities. PARTICIPATE & BE RECOGNIZED! We want to acknowledge your efforts on behalf of the dental profession.
