WE'RE BACK FROM BRANSON!
Conference 2013 had a spectacular line up of fun and educational opportunities! Thursday morning featured Eva Grayzel sharing the story of her fight against oral cancer and Leslie Franklin of ADA-Sponsored Insurance Plans speaking on “Networking Your Way to Success”. That evening the Alliance hosted a tour of the Titanic Museum that began with a Titanic themed dinner. Friday morning we heard legislative updates from Dr. Charles McGinty and Dr. Carmine LoMonaco during the ADPAC breakfast and then took a lesson in Branson history from KHOZ Radio Personality Steve Willoughby. Rounding out our events was the FDHE Silent Auction and Beulah K Spencer Awards banquet.
The Alliance came together and donated many personal care items to The Caring People, an organization that offers a kind community for single mothers and gets them back into the work force.
Each year the Alliance recognizes members for their outstanding service to the Alliance and their communities - this year April Cobb, Stephanie Grambau, Lacey Leishman and Julie Vaughn were given this prestigious honor.
The Foundation for Dental Health Education held their Annual Silent Auction, raising approximately $1900 for Dental Health Education projects in 2014. The Foundation for Dental Health Education (FDHE) was founded in 1990 to fund initiatives that promote good oral healthcare. Through our fundraising efforts, we sponsor the development of public outreach programs, access to care initiatives, educational materials, web-based public information resources, training, and other innovative efforts to educate the public.
